A shot brief photographers read before the event, not after

The challenge

Photographers covering a gaming shoot are briefed once and work around the event. They need to recognise the shot when it is in front of them, not only remember a list of rules.

What we did

A Storyline briefing that walks through key shot types on real frames from previous shoots. The photographer looks at the example first and reads the rule second, which is the order they will meet them in on the day. Guidance sits on the photograph it describes, so the brief teaches recognition rather than a list to recall under pressure, and stays skimmable for someone re-reading it before an event.

Project highlights

Shot-led
Every guideline sits on the frame it describes, so the brief teaches recognition rather than a list of rules to recall under pressure.
Reveal on demand
Click-through dots and hover cards keep each screen to one photograph at a time, so the brief stays skimmable for someone re-reading it on a phone before a shoot.
